help_quest                      Choose one of the predefined quests, or make your own by editing the options below.

help_mission                    The victory condition for the game. Choose one of the following:
help_mission_escape             · Escape from the Dungeon: Find the required number of gems and exit the dungeon to win.
help_mission_retrieve_book      · Retrieve Book and Escape: Find the book and escape with it. You may also be required to retrieve some gems.
help_mission_retrieve_wand      · Retrieve Wand and Escape: Find the wand and escape with it. You may also need to recover some gems.
help_mission_destroy_book       · Destroy Book with Wand: Find the book, bring it to the special pentagram at the top of the stairs (a very special place, easily distinguished from a normal pentagram), find the wand, and then strike the book, lying in the pentagram, with the wand. You may also need to be holding some gems when you do this.
help_mission_duel_to_death      · Duel to the Death: Find the Wand of Securing, use it to secure all entry points so that your opponents cannot respawn, and then slay all of your opponents to win.
help_mission_deathmatch         · Deathmatch: Players get 1 point for killing an enemy knight and -1 for a suicide. Being killed by a monster doesn't affect your score. The player with the most points when time runs out is the winner. (Remember to set a time limit, otherwise the game will go on forever!)

help_book                       A book is hidden in this dungeon. The book is heavy, and fighting while carrying it is impossible, so be careful while carrying it around. The different kinds of books are:
help_book_ashur                 · Lost Book of Ashur: A general book with no specific effects or abilities.
help_book_knowledge             · Ancient Book of Knowledge: This book automatically grants a full map of the dungeon to its holder. Alas, your opponents are always aware of your location while you are carrying it.
help_book_necronomicon          · Necronomicon: This book of dark magic is always sealed in a conjurer's room behind locked iron doors. When taken, its powers are unleashed and all nearby corpses are instantly raised as zombies. Additionally, whenever the book is held, zombie activity is automatically at its maximum.
help_book_gnomes                · Tome of Gnomes: This book of gnomish wisdom is always hidden behind clever traps or mechanical riddles.
help_nobook                     The current mission type does not require a book. To add one, change the "Mission Type" setting.

help_wand                       Wands are carried and used like any other melee weapon. All targets must be physically hit in order for a wand to work. If the dungeon contains multiple wands, they are all of the same kind. The available types are:
help_wand_destruction           · Wand of Destruction: Destroys any creature or wooden, breakable object.
help_wand_undeath               · Wand of Undeath: A nasty wand that destroys zombies, and turns an enemy knight into one! Zombies fear this wand and will flee from any knight who carries it.
help_wand_open_ways             · Wand of Open Ways: Opens its target, whether it be a locked door, a treasure chest, or a creature...
help_wand_securing              · Wand of Securing: This wand locks dungeon entry points so that only the securing knight, or their teammates, can use them to respawn. (If knights from two different teams both secure the same entry point, it becomes blocked and nobody can use it.) If a knight dies while having no usable entry point, they will lose the game, having no way to re-enter the dungeon.
help_nowand                     The dungeon does not currently contain any wands. To add one, adjust the "Number of Wands" setting.

help_num_wands_1                Sets the number of wands hidden in the dungeon. Some missions require at least one wand.
help_num_wands_2                When choosing this setting, the balance between wands and players is worth considering – fewer wands than players creates competition to find one, while more wands than players makes wands easy to come by, reducing their tactical value.

help_num_gems                   Sets the number of gems in the dungeon. Gems are almost always in chests, but might also be found on tables, or sometimes just lying on the floor.

help_gems_needed                The number of gems that a knight must retrieve, in addition to any other mission requirements, before they can win the game.

help_dungeon                    Sets the size and general layout of the dungeon. If the selected dungeon type is too small for the current mission, it is automatically enlarged.

help_premapped                  If selected, a full map of the dungeon will be available to all knights at the start of the game. Otherwise, rooms must be mapped as they are explored.

help_entry_1                    The place where knights enter the dungeon. A knight's entry point remains the same throughout the game, unless "Different every time" is selected, or the Wand of Securing is used.
help_entry_2                    Knights may receive healing at any time by returning to their entry point.
help_entry_3                    The available settings are:
help_entry_random               · Total Random: Entry points are placed completely at random.
help_entry_close                · Close to Other: Players' entry points are located close to each other. (Max 4 players.)
help_entry_away                 · Away from Other: Players' entry points are located far away from each other. (Max 4 players.)
help_entry_different            · Different every time: Knights do not have a fixed entry point. Instead, whenever a knight dies, they respawn at a new, random entry point. (Healing can still be received by going to your most recent entry point.)

help_exit_1                     Choose where the dungeon exit is located. If a knight arrives at this location before collecting all required items, they will be told what they still need.
help_exit_2                     The available choices are:
help_exit_same                  · Same as Entry: Knights must exit the dungeon via their own entry point.
help_exit_other                 · Other's Entry: Knights must exit the dungeon via the other player's entry point. Only available in games with exactly two players.
help_exit_random                · Total Random: The exit point is random, and unknown to knights at the start of the game. The only way to find the correct exit point is by trial and error.
help_exit_guarded               · Guarded: The exit point is in a special location behind locked iron doors and guarded by vampire bats.
help_noexit                     The current mission type does not require an exit point. To add one, change the "Mission Type" setting.

help_gear                       Knights always carry a sword, and may also have additional equipment at the start of the game. The available choices are:
help_gear_sword                 · Sword Only: Knights start only with their trusty sword. The sword is a good melee weapon, and can also be used for parrying (to parry, simply stand still without touching the controller).
help_gear_daggers               · Daggers: Knights additionally start with a supply of throwing daggers. Daggers cause minimal damage, but can still be dangerous, especially when combined with magical quickness, or used in large numbers.
help_gear_traps                 · Traps: Knights additionally start with a supply of spring blade and poison needle traps, which they can set on doors or treasure chests.
help_gear_daggers_traps         · Daggers and Traps: Knights start with both daggers and traps.

help_num_keys_1                 This sets the number of different key types in the dungeon.
help_num_keys_2                 In addition to keys, the dungeon will always contain at least one set of lock picks, which can be used to open any locked door – if time is no problem.

help_pretrapped                 If this is selected, then some chests will already be trapped with a poison needle or spring blade trap when the game begins.

help_stuff                      Sets the amount of items (potions, scrolls, weapons and traps) available in the dungeon at the start of the game.

help_stuff_respawn              Sets how quickly potions and scrolls respawn after being used. "None" means that potions and scrolls, once used, will be gone for good. "Fast" ensures that the dungeon remains well stocked.

help_zombies                    If this is above zero, then foul magic is at work in the dungeon – dead bodies slowly decompose, and eventually rise up as zombies! The higher the number, the faster this effect.

help_bats                       If this is above zero, the dungeon will contain killer vampire bats. Be warned, their sonar cannot be fooled by invisibility.

help_time_1                     Set a time limit for the quest in minutes. Set to zero for no time limit.
help_time_2                     If time runs out, then all players automatically lose (unless the mission type is Deathmatch).
