Some random toughts:
-Add other themes (other types of ruins, caves, forests, outside), that would allow to create more complex maps(like island with forests and a big temple for example.)
-Multi-level dungeons - stairs up/down should not only be transition between maps, but should as well change level. It would give the game nice, roguelike feel...
-Game speed tweaking - from 0.5 to 3.0, sometimes would be nice for some players.
-Maybe few different characters with slightly varying statistics
-More types of weapons(spear, halberd, claymore, mace, etc), various weapon materials (wood, iron, steel, bronze, silver(anti-undead), rock) and states(rusty, low-quality, normal, high-quality, enchanted(light, sharp, flaming, freezing, poison, fast))
-Pickaxe for digging, takes much time to dig trough walls, a bit less trough rock or earth, can dig holes
-Maybe an svn/git/hg and precompiled linux binaries perhaps?

Thank you for the very good selection of bug fixes and upgrades. Also, the kudos in the credits was a nice surprise for the inaugural multi-player testing team. I just shared the game with an ol' Amiga buddy tonight, lot of nostalgia I'm sure, since we haven't talked in a very long time. I am very glad to see the update with tutorial and other improvements available for a great first impression. Looking forward to much more game play as the dungeon fills up with new knights, and I'm confident the activity will pick up momentum. I'll be busy updating all my family's pc's this weekend and spreading the release notice :)
